I do think so. It should be simple and convenient to recycle glass bottles and jars, metal and household items that we can save from going to waste.
Recycling stations like the one in the picture are common in most residential areas in our neighbouring countries. And they work!

The members of Tjóðveldi were delighted when the Committee on Nature and Environmental Affairs was tasked with testing three recycling stations across the municipality of Tórshavn.
But the joy was short-lived. After four years and countless discussions, there is still no recycling station in place. They arrived months ago and have been sitting on the outskirts of Tórshavn, despite our efforts to get them installed for public use.
The majority coalition’s “green policy” is all talk and no action. Our citizens are eager to live greener lives, and the necessary political actions to facilitate the new reality are way overdue.
We need to take immediate action to get these recycling stations up and running and expand the recycling opportunities in the municipality of Tórshavn.
Green solutions should be the easiest solutions.
